South Florida StormWatch
Weather with Attitude…

Now that Hurricane Season is over, StormWatch sort of goes back on AutoPilot. Florida gets that name ‘the sunshine state’ for what can usually be expected this time of the year, namely sun and more sun for the winter months, though it has been a little cooler than I like so far. I am still knocking around and might show up to comment on any extraordinary weather events, should any catch my attention.

The site has been running pretty well on ‘autopilot’ the last several months, no doubt about that. I do use it myself, keep things up to date and fix any problems I may notice though, so it has not been forgotten.

Anyway, I suspect the storm season this year might be interesting… With any luck I might be able to pop in with some insight and/or other useless commentary if that is the case.

The site has been updated for the 2011 Atlantic Hurricane Season, and I will be monitoring activity as I have during the last several seasons… However, as you may have noticed, my posting on non-tropical weather has fallen off. To adjust for that I have reconfigured to site a bit to be more aligned with providing the current tropical weather information, and less centered on the now much less active blog.

As the season begins to pick up speed I may find myself posting on a more regular basis again, but overall I think this will allow users to access the most relevant information on the home page.
